These Terms of Use apply when you access or use Opskr.dk. Opskr.dk is an independently developed and operated recipe and meal-planning service created by Eli Jakobsen. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• If you are not legally able to enter into a binding agreement on your own, a parent or legal guardian must consent where required by applicable law.
• You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You should contact Opskr.dk if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your authorization.

2. Use of the Service

You may use Opskr.dk for lawful personal use and for the features made available through your account.

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, systems, or restricted areas of the service.
• Interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the service.
• Upload or distribute malicious code, harmful content, spam, or fraudulent material.
• Use automated access in a way that bypasses technical restrictions, ignores access controls, or places an unreasonable load on the service.
• Use the service to violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute protected Opskr.dk content except where permitted by law or with prior permission.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content that you create or submit through Opskr.dk, such as notes, lists, recipe-related information, or other user-provided content. Opskr.dk does not claim ownership of your user content.

You grant Opskr.dk a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce, and display your content only as necessary to operate the service and provide the features you choose to use. If you choose to share or make content available to other users or through a guest link, this license also includes making that content available according to the sharing settings you selected.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to submit content to the service and that your content does not unlawfully infringe the rights of others.

4. Shared Content and Guest Links

Some features may allow you to share content with other users or through a guest-access link. Anyone who receives a valid guest link may be able to access the shared content according to the permissions associated with that link.

You are responsible for deciding who receives a guest link and for revoking or replacing the link if it has been shared with someone who should no longer have access. You should not place highly sensitive information in content that you choose to share.

5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for purchases made through Opskr.dk. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, invoicing, applicable taxes, and payment-related compliance. Opskr.dk does not directly collect or store payment card details.

The price, billing interval, renewal terms, and other purchase information applicable to a subscription are shown before purchase. If a subscription is recurring, it will continue to renew according to the terms presented at checkout until it is cancelled.

Cancellation, renewal, and refund rights are subject to the terms presented at purchase, Paddle's applicable buyer terms, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals according to those applicable terms but does not necessarily result in an immediate refund or immediate loss of access.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the software, design, branding, original text, graphics, and other content provided by Opskr.dk, excluding user-submitted content and third-party material, are owned by or licensed to the operator of Opskr.dk.

You may use the service and its content for the purposes made available through Opskr.dk. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit protected Opskr.dk content without permission unless applicable law allows it.

7. Recipes, Allergens, and Food Safety

Recipes, ingredient information, cooking times, nutritional information, and similar content are provided for general informational purposes. Individual ingredients, products, appliances, and cooking conditions can vary.

You are responsible for checking ingredient labels, allergens, dietary suitability, food condition, safe preparation practices, and appropriate cooking temperatures before consuming or serving food. Opskr.dk is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or allergy advice.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

Opskr.dk may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, or when an account is used in serious or repeated violation of these terms, including fraud, abuse, spam, or unauthorized access attempts.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation before terminating access. Immediate action may be taken where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of other users.

You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account subject to applicable legal or retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and Changes to the Service

Opskr.dk is developed and maintained as an independent service. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features as the service develops. We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Opskr.dk is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that every feature, recipe, calculation, piece of user-provided content, or third-party service will always be accurate, available, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Opskr.dk is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, losses caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, or losses resulting from misuse of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law or would improperly restrict mandatory consumer rights.

12. Privacy

Information about how Opskr.dk collects, uses, protects, and shares personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections they are entitled to under the law of their country of residence. Any dispute will be handled by the courts or dispute-resolution bodies that have jurisdiction under applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated when the service, its features, third-party providers, or applicable legal requirements change. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, Opskr.dk will provide it.
